Dr Danny Con

Danny is a Melbourne-based gastroenterologist, hepatologist and endoscopist who graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2015 and completed advanced physician training at Eastern Health and Austin Health, including within the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit. He currently holds a public position at Austin Health and is completing a PhD in pharmacokinetic modelling and personalized care in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He maintains broad interests in all aspects of gastroenterology, including irritable bowel syndrome, chronic liver disease, viral hepatitis, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, bowel cancer screening and IBD. He is also a certified bowel sonographer by the International Bowel Ultrasound group.

Outside of medicine, Danny enjoys spending time with his family and heading up to the Victorian Alps in winter to practice his (very limited) snowboarding tricks
